Spring in the distance- Hot sake against the chill. Kimono open.
Spring in the distance- Hot sake against the chill. Kimono open.
Blessed guardian— Standing still and vigilant. Friend of winter black. Garden of flowers, Black and white among rainbows. Leaves float in water. White hunter on wing— Silent under the moonlight. Bare trees marching on.
Winter home sealed Warm underneath root and rock. Porridge steaming hot.
Hidden cloudy sun, Forest trees create shadows. Mochi sweet on tongue.
Glowing moon on high- Wisps of light dance merrily. Morning journey start.
Bear in winter sleep- Mountains cloaked in misty mask, Sun on icy grass.
Chill blanket of white- Cloaks forest and field alike. Pink promise of spring.
Winter brings with it cold weather, holiday seasons, and visits from friends and family. It also brings with it doldrums and depression. Called Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) by clinicians and Winter Depression by the lay community, SAD remains a mystery…
Cold. Fields stand bare. Black form crouched in hidden dale. Arrow pierces heart.
