There are many types of love. There are many expressions of love. To pigeon hole yourself into what your parents had or what society believes you should have is possible but paints the world with grayer colors. That is unless those are what you see as love. That is the funny thing about the many facets of love, it suits like a second skin.
That being said, many people spend their lives looking along their pathway to find what they consider love. It may take a lifetime. It may take several lifetimes. In some ways the looking is as important as the finding. As they travel, they get to experience what lies on the other side of the horizon.
