This week’s retreat location takes us to an actual retreat. Located in the mountains around Mayhill New Mexico, several of the residents as well as long time visitors to the Retreat were able to come together with friends for several days of fellowship. While wet, it was an excellent weekend. Pictured to the left is the night sky over Mayhill, during the summer, capturing all of the stars spanned across the expanse of the sky. While this is unusual for the posting, it shows a certain amount of perspective to our place in the universe. While we are each unique individuals with our own special combination of thoughts, deeds, fears, and loves we are still part of a much larger system that spans not only our world but all of Creation.
