Often, when a storm clears from an area, there is a sense of relief as the pressure passes and the rain has washed the land clean. Sometimes the storm has wrought destruction in its path, brining flood and upheaval. The same span can be found in the interactions between people. Conflict, while never wanted, is sometimes the result of differing opinions, views, or definitions. When this disharmony finally clears, it leaves a sigh of relief along with the possibility of a changed landscape.
As it is with storms, the disharmony between people often has the tendency to affect those caught in the path. Friends, family, and peers can sometimes only look on as it sweeps through. Coming to rest and ensuring that everyone weathered the storm is as vital to walking through the driving wind and water, content with your place in the world.
