Path’s cross, sometimes interconnecting for a few leagues. When this happens, friends and foes can both be made. Time, circumstance, and souls dictate which. Learning from these experiences and connections broadens the view on what can occur in the world.
Life’s journey is rarely straight. It twists and turns, cantering off into the woods. In addition, since few of us are monks or hermits, these changes in direction can affect some amount of planning for the future. The challenge or enlightenment comes when you (as the traveler) decide how they are going to react to this new circumstance. Standing in the mud and watching as the rain comes down, dejected, is one option. Walking between the raindrops is another. All else falls in-between.
