Yom Hashoah

Sunday is Yom Hashoah, a Jewish holiday created in the remembrance of those who lost their lives in the holocaust. While not Jewish, the death of millions of Jews, Gypsies, homosexuals, and others during that dark period brings the remembrance that peace can be shattered with the thoughts and words of a single group. Emotion and belief is a living thing that exists in the minds and lives of a community. When that life is turned towards peace and harmony, the world becomes a brighter place. When turned in the other direction, it becomes a monster created.
